“Salinas United” is a free citywide day of celebration and service set for Saturday, April 26th from 9 am to 3 pm at Natividad Creek Park in Salinas. Participants can expect a wide variety of organizations to raise awareness & some entertainment. Light refreshments will be offered to the volunteers

On April 26 from 10 am to 2pm local law enforcement agencies and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its eighth opportunity in three years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
